Penza, 7 May 2020. PenzaNews. Employees of the Penza administration and forestry of the region planted more than 10 000 pine seedlings on an area of over 2 000 hectares in the territory of Zarya microdistrict. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

“In total, about 7.5 hectares of land was allotted for planting trees and shrubs,” the city hall noted.

The administration of Penza explained that the work was organized as part of the Garden of Remembrance campaign, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

“More than 100 000 pine seedlings are planned to be planted in the region. About 65 plots in all municipalities were already identified for these purposes,” the press service said.
