Penza, 27 May 2020. PenzaNews. A reward of 100 000 roubles is provided for winning the competition for the best conceptual design for the sculptural part of the We Are from Penza Stele, which is planned to be installed in the Pionersky public garden.

75 000 roubles will be paid for the second place, while the third one will get 50 000 roubles.

The winners will be determined by the competitive commission approved by the Penza Administration Decree No. 643.

The commission is headed by Mayor Andrei Luzgin, Deputy Mayor Magomed Agamagomedov is his substitute.

The commission also includes, in particular, deputy chairman of the Penza region government Oleg Yagov, head of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture – chief architect of the region Leonid Ioffe, chairman of the board of the regional department of the Union of Artists of Russia Victor Shabanov, head of the City Council of Veterans Vyacheslav Anpilogov and chairman of the board of the regional Union of Architects of Russia Alexander Breusov.

As previously reported by PenzaNews, in May 2020, the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture announced a competition for conceptual design for the sculptural part of the We Are from Penza Stele to be installed in a public garden in Pionerskaya Street.
