Penza, 15 June 2020. PenzaNews. The parade to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will not be held in Penza on June 24. This was stated by Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev.

"For the sake of public health, we will not hold the parade on June 24th. We will postpone it to a later date," he said during a video conference on Monday, June 15.

The head of the region added that the main thing at that moment was "to move towards lifting the restrictions".

"I think this week we will move on to the second stage of lifting the restrictions and we will strive to ensure that the restrictions are completely removed. [...] So far we are generally going in the right direction," Ivan Belozertsev said.
