Penza, 7 July 2020. PenzaNews. Reconstruction of the fountain, located in the centre of Penza, is carried out behind schedule. This conclusion was made by Governor Ivan Belozertsev following the results of his visit to the place on Tuesday, July 7.

"The work is being completed, but you're still behind schedule. You must catch up with it," he said, addressing representatives of the contractors.

The head of the region expressed an opinion that with an increase in the number of workers on the construction site and optimization of processes, the completion time could be reduced.

"This is not a drama theatre, this is not a temple," said Ivan Belozertsev.

The governor set the task to put into operation the new fountain and the territory adjacent to it before August 25.
