Penza, 29 July 2020. PenzaNews. Governor of Penza region Ivan Belozertsev, instructed Head of the Penza administration Andrey Luzgin to re-analyse the need to eliminate trolleybus traffic in the city.

“I see there is a discussion of the topic on social networks, many are worried and not satisfied with the decision. In this regard, I give you an instruction to discuss the situation with the economic bloc, make calculations, propose possible options,” the head of the region said during a working meeting held in the regional government on Wednesday, July 29.

Ivan Belozertsev added that the topic of abandoning trolleybuses had to be discussed with the population.

“I ask you to take this issue seriously, discuss it with residents, hold meetings, if necessary, explain your position, and hear the people,” the press service of the regional government quotes the governor.
