Penza, 8 August 2020. PenzaNews. 2 048 people died in Penza region in June 2020, which is 554 more than in the same month in 2019. This was evidenced by data of Rosstat.

The number of deaths in the region increased by 37.1%.

In the six months of 2020, 10 517 people died in Penza region, while in the first half of 2019, 9 375 died. The growth was 1 142 people, or 12.2%.

In January-June this year, 4,723 children were born in the region, which is 398 less than in the same period of 2019. The decrease is 7.8%.

The natural population decline in Penza region increased. In the first six months of 2019, it was 4 254 people, while in the first half of 2020 it amounted to 5 794.
