Penza, 10 August 2020. PenzaNews. 2 020 marriages were concluded in Penza region in January-June 2020, which is 25% less than in the same period in 2019. This was evidenced by data of Rosstat.

According to the information provided, during the first six months of the previous year 2 693 couples registered their relations.

The number of divorces in the region decreased by 20.4%. In January-June 2019, 2 501 divorces were registered, while in the same period of 2020 – 1 990.

In June this year in Penza region, 492 couples formalized their relationship; a year ago 870 marriages were concluded in the same month. The decrease was 43.4%.

The number of divorces also decreased but less significantly. In June 2020 there were 384 of them, a year earlier – 425. The decrease was 9.6%.
