“While on vacation, I continue to work. Of course, one of the most important topics today is the situation with the spread of novel coronavirus infection. It is certainly not easy, but the health care system is now ready,” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, October 13.

The head of the region said that in March and April, when COVID-19 was first encountered, it had been much more difficult.

“It used to be a new, unknown disease; today our doctors have successful experience in diagnosing and treating coronavirus. The hospitals are fully provided with everything necessary, including medicines and personal protective equipment,” Ivan Belozertsev emphasized.

He urged residents of Penza region to take care of their health.

“Do not neglect preventive measures. These are simple rules that you have to follow for yourself and your loved ones,” the governor added.
