Installation of artificial Christmas tree starts in Penza in Lenina square

Penza, 13 November 2020. PenzaNews. Workers of the municipal unitary enterprise Zelenoe Khozyaystvo Goroda Penzy started installation of a 25-metre artificial Christmas tree in Lenina Square.

Compared to previous years, this time it was decided to place it closer to Kirova Street.
According to the press service of the Penza administration, it is planned to use new decorations.
“For this purpose, golden balls with a diameter of 8 to 25 cm, 12-metre led garlands and snowflakes measuring 45 by 38 cm were purchased,” the city hall said adding that decoration is planned to be completed in early December.
The press service added that 99 light poles had been decorated before New Year in Moskovskaya Street – at a section from Lunacharsky Regional Drama Theatre to the Vysshaya Liga shopping centre.
“In addition, 20 light structures in the shape of Christmas trees, a ‘2021’ installation and a house of Ded Moroz will appear in the central square of Penza,” the city administration noted.
