Penza, 27 November 2020. PenzaNews. Workers began assembling a Christmas tree on the embankment of the Sputnik City residential district in the village of Zasechnoye, Penza region.

They use a truck crane to place conifers on a metal structure. After this stage of work, the assembled tree will be decorated.

Meanwhile, the Sputnik embankment was already transformed – there are garlands, as well as large numbers “2021” and tunnels, which are illuminated in the evening and create a festive New Year atmosphere.

Besides, an ice rink was assembled there, but it works and is serviced only at sub-zero temperatures. In the near future, it is planned to open a skate rental service.
