According to the methodologist of the culture and leisure department of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure Elena Filyaeva, this year the ice town's design is associated with the New Year's performance “The Enchanted Kingdom of Crooked Mirrors”.
As she said, on the territory of the town there would be slides, figures of the Water Spirit, the Frog Princess, a mortar with Baba Yaga inside and a trough with the Goldfish.
“There will also be a Snow Maiden's house in the park,” the agency's interlocutor added.
Elena Filyaeva noted that guests would be able to take memorable photos.
“The opening of the Christmas trees and the ice town is scheduled for December 26,” said the park's methodologist, specifying that it will depend on recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, when and how the performance will be shown.
She assumed that the ice town would be ready before that deadline.
