The number of children born in Penza region in the first 10 months of 2020 amounted to 8 098. This is 684 children less than in the same months last year. The decrease is 7.8%.

Thus, the natural decline in the population in Penza region, that is, the excess of the number of deaths over the number of births, amounted to 9 978 people in January-October 2020.

According to the results of 10 months of 2019, the natural loss of population was 6 588 people.
