Penza, 25 January 2021. PenzaNews. A preventive measure aimed at suppressing violation of traffic rules by drivers who do not have or are deprived of the right to drive, started in Penza region on the morning of Monday, January 25.

“In accordance with Part 1, Art. 12.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, driving a vehicle without a right to drive is punished by an administrative fine of 5 000 to 15 000 roubles,” a message posted on the website of the State Traffic Police reminds.

It adds that if caught driving, motorists deprived of the right to drive are punished by an administrative fine in the amount of 30 000 roubles, administrative arrest for up to 15 days, or compulsory work for a period of 100 to 200 hours.
