Penza, 27 January 2021. PenzaNews. Representatives of the authorities, veterans, non-governmental organisations and concerned citizens took part in a commemorative event dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad, which was held in Penza on Wednesday, January 27.

They honoured the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.

Afterwards, those present laid flowers and wreaths at the monument to the Heroes of Besieged Leningrad.
