Employees of a specialised fire and rescue unit started patrolling the streets of Penza and surrounding areas on motorbikes equipped with primary firefighting equipment and tools to carry out emergency work in a variety of conditions. This was reported by the press service of the main EMERCOM department in Penza region.

“Thanks to its mobility, the motorbike team can reach the scene of an accident as quickly as possible, despite traffic congestion, or places that are difficult to reach,” the press release said.

It adds that it is also the task of the motorised group to carry out preventive work, identify hotbeds of fires and eliminate them in a timely manner.
