Penza, 8 May 2021. PenzaNews. Participants in the Garden of Memory campaign planted more than 8 500 seedlings of the Scotch pine on an area of 4.5 hectares in the Ermolovsko-Stepnoi district forestry near the village of Kondol in Penza region on May 7. This was stated in a message of the press service of the Ministry of Forestry of the region.

“More than 150 people took part in the event,” the text specified.

It notes that during the annual campaign, more than 44 000 trees on an area of over 28 hectares are to be planted in 16 forest areas of Penza region.
