Participants of VtorBoom campaign collect over 30 tonnes of recyclable waste in Penza region

Penza, 25 May 2021. PenzaNews. Pupils from 29 educational institutions in Penza region collected more than 30 tonnes of recyclable waste as part of the VtorBoom environmental education project in January-May 2021. This is according to a message posted on the website of the region's Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Nature Management.

According to the ministry, in particular, the schoolchildren brought more than 29 tonnes of waste paper and 600 kg of PET bottles for recycling.

The project also included 15 eco-lessons on the topic of separate waste collection.
