Penza, 27 June 2021. PenzaNews. Pedestrian Crossing preventive campaign will be held in Penza region on Monday, June 28. This is stated in a message posted on the website of the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

“Running over a pedestrian is one of the most tragic types of traffic accidents, with high severity of consequences for pedestrian life and health,” the text notes.

It adds that during the forthcoming campaign, organised to reduce the number and severity of such accidents, special attention will be paid by traffic police officers to the observance of pedestrian crossing rules.
