Penza, 1 July 2021. PenzaNews. Mass inspections of the mask regime started in Penza. This is stated in a message published on the website of the city administration on Thursday, July 1.

“Administrative offence reports will be drawn up against violators. This is a necessary measure to restrain the spread of the coronavirus. The main purpose of the raids is not to fine residents, but to ensure their safety,” the text says.

It specifies that checks are organised in transport, shopping malls, catering, trade and service establishments.

It follows from the message that since the beginning of 2021, police officers made 2 618 reports under Art. 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the rules of conduct in an emergency situation or the threat of its occurrence” on the facts of violation of the mask regime by visitors to shopping facilities.
