Penza, 29 August 2021. PenzaNews. A memorial plaque to Georg Myasnikov will be placed on the building of secondary general education school No. 58 on Voroshilova Street in Penza. The respective regional government decree No. 472-rP was signed by acting governor Oleg Melnichenko.

“I resolve to satisfy the application of the municipal budgetary general educational institution – secondary general education school № 58 in the city of Penza named after Georg Vasilievich Myasnikov – to place a memorial plaque to the outstanding Soviet party and state leader, and local historian Georg Vasilievich Myasnikov,” the document says.

It adds that the plaque will be placed on the facade.
