Penza, 20 October 2021. PenzaNews. Penza region governor Oleg Melnichenko took part in the national population census using the unified public services portal.

He urged the residents of the region to follow his example.

“From October 15 to November 14, the national population census is taking place. Due to the high incidence of coronavirus, it is of course better to take the census electronically. To do this, you need to use the public services website,” the head of the region said.

According to Oleg Melnichenko, the data from the census will enable officials to plan programmes for socio-demographic and socio-economic development.

“So I urge everyone to take the census, and it is best to do it remotely,” the governor added.
