As Anton Garmash, General Director of JSC Bashkortostan Suburban Passenger Company, noted this is the first rail bus in Penza region.
“A second train will arrive in January, [...] which will fully cover the entire demand of Penza region residents [...] on the Penza-Belinskaya-Penza route,” he stressed.
Anton Garmash emphasised the fact that the Orlan is used on non-electrified railway sections.
“I am sure that it is better than any form of motor transport, as it is safe in the first place,” said the general director of Bashkortostan Suburban Passenger Company.
He expressed confidence that the rail bus would be in demand among passengers, including organised tourist groups, and particularly children’s groups.
