Penza, 27 January 2022. PenzaNews. Representatives of the regional and city authorities took part in a commemorative event dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad, which took place in Penza on Thursday, January 27.

They honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers and wreaths at the monument to the Heroes of Besieged Leningrad.

This year, due to measures introduced to counter the spread of the coronavirus infection, the number of participants in the event was limited.
