Penza, 24 March 2022. PenzaNews. The anti-terrorist exercises Ekran-2022 under the leadership of the operational headquarters in the Penza region were held on the basis of the State University of Architecture and Construction.

According to legend, mock terrorists attacked the university, took employees and students hostages, set fire to the dormitory and tried to commit a terrorist attack using poisonous substances.

Units of all emergency services arrived at the scene on alarm, organized the evacuation of staff and students, as well as the search for “terrorists.”

Within the framework of the exercises, they worked out the mechanisms to inform the population about the security measures taken to minimize and eliminate the consequences of a terrorist attack, protect and defend administrative buildings, provide first aid to victims, eliminate fires, evacuate people and organize a negotiation process with criminals.

As a result, additional experience was gained in conducting a counter-terrorism operation, the level of coherence and interdepartmental interaction was increased, the press service of the FSB of Russia for the Penza region reports.
