Penza, 25 May 2011. PenzaNews. The construction of the Combat Sport Palace was started in the district of Penza Krivozer’e. According to the head of Construction and Road Management of the Penza region Viktor Shoshkin, the budget of this work would be more than 520m rubles.

He said: "Now there is a fence installed and preliminary layout is made on the place of the future building."

As Viktor Shoshkin stressed, the other city contractor "Mosinzhstroy" would be daily controlled.
The three-stored building of 20th sq. m will be designed for training, meetings and competitions in Greco-Roman wrestling, Sambo, martial arts, boxing and weightlifting.

Depending on the type of the competitions in the sports and entertaining unit there will be placed 4 carpets for Sambo, 4 mats for judo, 3 carpets for Greco-Roman wrestling, 2 boxing rings or heavy athletics platforms in the middle of the arena. The training unit will consist of training and exercise rooms, medical-rehabilitation center and administrative offices.

In the hall there will be stands for 1 thousand 200 persons, commentator’s rooms, cabins for control of sound and light. And on the second floor there will be 22 seats for wheelchair users.

Viktor Shoshkin said: "In the current year it will be spend about 57m rubles. Deadline of the whole work is September 2013."
