Penza, 26 May 2011. PenzaNews. About 70m rubles are allocated from the city budget of Penza to build a rollerdrome in the park "Olympiysky".

According to the director of the park Tatyana Denisova, the construction of the project should be completed by May 2013. The total area of the rollerdrome will be 1,7th sq m.

She said in the interview with the internet-service "Penza-Sport": "The park "Olympiysky" has become a part of the preparation plan for the 350-year anniversary of the city. Initially it was planning to reconstruct it, like all other parks in Penza, but taking into account the name of the object — Olympic Stadium — it was decided to make its work completely sports orientated. There will be no attractions here."

She also said that the the area for roller skating would make 800 sq m, the rest of it would take a climbing wall, a cafe, an arheopark, the utility rooms and the rent of rollers.
