Penza, 4 July 2011. PenzaNews. Three sportsmen from the Penza region became the winners of the Thriathlon European Cup which was held on the territory the hotel complex "Chistye Prudy" last week-end, on July, 2nd and 3rs. More than 100 triathletes took part in the competitions. Anastasiya Gorbunova from Penza took second place among juniors, the Penza sportsman Ilya Prasolov won bronze medal. Vladimir Turbaevsky from Penza took silver medal among men.

According to the internet-service "Penza-Sport", the stage of the Thriathlon European Cup was held in Russia for the first time.
