Penza, 2 August 2011. PenzaNews. Penzasportsmen Tamara Balabulina, Victoria Baranova, Alexander Goncharov and Alexey Tkachev took European championship winning places on cycling which took place in Portugal from July, 27 till July, 31st.

Tamara Balabulina took the third place in sprint and the first place in command sprint. Victoria Baranova won a bronze medal in heat on 500 meters, and became the best in sprint and kerin. Alexander Goncharov won a bronze medal in command pursuit. Alexey Tkachev took the third place in command sprint.

According to Internet service "Penza-sport", now Penza sportsmen prepare for taking part in the championship of Russia on cycling on track which will take place in St.-Petersburg on Thursday, August, 4th.
