Penza, 10 August 2011. PenzaNews. Second annual city tournament on flag-football among fans will pass in Penza at the stadium "Souz" on Sunday, August, 14th.

As the head coach of a command on the American football "Feniksy" Alexey Kazantsev said, all interested persons can take part in tournament, 5 persons teams will be formed.

He said: "The organizers of the tournament will make training for the people not familiar with game rules which will begin one hour earlier than the beginning of duels — at 13.00 Moscow time".

Flag-football is contactless and simplified version of the American football. The site, a ball and "flags" — ribbons fixed on a belt of players are required for game. Teams consist of 5 persons. The ball moves ahead across the field it is passed or carried, but instead of capture of the player with a ball they stop the person by taking one of two "flags" from him. Game is accessible to people of any sex and constitution, as the main criteria is an ability to run quickly, to catch and throw a ball.
