Penza boxers will visit St.-Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod

Penza, 9 September 2011. PenzaNews. The delegation of boxers of Tamalinsky area of the Penza region on imitative of famous sportsman Nikolay Valuev will visit St.-Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod where they will take part in master classes and friendly matches.

According to the head of embassy of the government of the Penza region at the government of the Russian Federation Konstantin Oreshkin, the delegation consists of three pupils of sport schools — Sergey Uzbekov, Oleg Makarenko, Alexey Tereshkin, and also trainer-teacher on boxing Yury Uzbekov and the first deputy of the head of administration of Tamalinsky area Andrey Kurnikov.

He said: "During the trip Penza boxers will get acquainted with the work of Nikolay Valuev's boxing schools in St.-Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod. We hope that this trip will be an incitement for advancement of authority and image of sports potential of the Penza region on Russian and international level".

According to Konstantin Oreshkin the trip of boxers is organized by the embassy of the government of the Penza region as a part of the arrangements which had been made during the meeting of the governor Vasily Bochkarev and the world champion on boxing Nikolay Valuev in Penza in July, 2011.
