Penza, 24 November 2011. PenzaNews. Competitions within the limits of the championship and the Cup of Russia on rhythmic gymnastics started in the sport center “Burtasy” in Penza on Thursday, November, 24th.

According to Natalia Lashchinskaya, the main judge of the competitions, Adele Galina from Dmitrov (53.675 points), Julia Buhtij from Belgorod (53.6 points) and Ekaterina Selezneva from Pushkino (52.925 points) were the best in the first day of competitions.

The judge said: “According to the results of the first stage of competitions, Penza sportswomen Julia Nikolskaya, Darya Kadenkova and Elizavets Petrushina took the 12th, 14th and 15th places accordingly”.

40 teams and 30 sportswomen took part in the competition. They have been chosen following the results of the Russian championship in the individual program which took place in October 2011.
