Penza, 6 December 2011. PenzaNews. Hockey club “Diesel” of Penza played the first match in the new ice stadium “Diesel-arena” on Monday, December, 5th. The meeting with club “Kaztsink-Torpedo” from Ust Kamenogorsk came to the end with the score 4:1 in favor of the guests.

According to the Internet service “Penza-sport”, the guests opened the scoring during the 8th minute Alexander Mayer delivered the puck into the cage of Pavel Suchkov.

In the beginning of the second period he made a double — 2:0. During the 36th minute Yaroslav Alshevsky scored the first goal of “Diesel engine” on new arena, having converted numerical advantage. However Vadim Rifel soon increased the score of “Kaztsink-Torpedo” — 3:1.

Almost for 3 minutes till the end of the basic time of the match “Diesel” replaced the goalkeeper with the sixth field player. It didn’t give the desirable result, thus Vadim Rifel delivered the puck into the empty cage.

After 28 matches Penza hockey team occupies the 3rd place in the conference “West” (48 points). "Kaztsink-Torpedo” is at the 6th place in the east conference (42 points).

“Diesel” will spend the following meeting on the ice with Krasnoyarsk “Sokol” on Wednesday, December, 7th.
