Penza, 24 January 2012. PenzaNews. Stadium “Trud” earlier belonging to school of higher sports skill will be transferred to Penza state university. The chairman of regional sport committee Grigory Kabelsky informed about it during press conference on Tuesday, on January 24.

According to him, preparation of documents for transferring of sports facilities from regional to federal property now proceeds.

“The ice arena will be re-orientated in a palace of game sports for basketball, volleyball and mini football competitions,” Grigory Kabelsky informed.

The rector of Penza state university present at the press conference Vladimir Volchihin noticed that new facilities will be used for physical training classes.

“Stadium reconstruction will pass stage by stage at the expense of off-budget means of the university. Design documentation preparation and hall building will cost not less than 10 million rubles. Then it is planned to winterize walls and to replace heating. I think that the athletic field will be ready by the beginning of new academic year,” the rector of high school said.
