Penza archer took part in World Championship in Las Vegas

Penza, 10 February 2012. PenzaNews. The pupil of school of Olympic reserve of the Penza region Dinara Janbarisova took part in World Championship on arching in premises which has come to the end in Las Vegas on Thursday, on February, 9th.

According to spokesman of school of the Olympic reserve, the sportswoman had the fifth result in first qualifying competitions.

However, according to the ministry of sports, tourism and the youth policy of the Russian Federation, Penza archer didn’t manage to become a prize-winner.

“Following the results of competitions Russian sportsmen got four medals, one gold, two silver and one bronze medal,” the press-service of Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Russia.

Victoria Balzhanova won “silver” together with Natalia Avdeeva and Albina Loginova became the world champion in stand shooting.

“Alexey Borodin, Balzhinima Tsyrempilov and Bair Badenov won team competitions in shooting from classical arch silver medals. Ksenia Perova won “Bronze” in individual tournament in classic,” added in the press-service.

On the account of the Russian juniors three “gold” and one “silver.”

Sportsmen from 63 countries participated in competitions.
