Penza chess players won “Moscow Open – 2012”

Penza, 13 February 2012. PenzaNews. Penza sportsmen Anatoly Lopukhin and Dmitry Kokarev became prize-winners of the international Cup of Russian State Social University (RSSU) on chess “Moscow Open – 2012.”

Following the results of fans’ tournament, Anatoly Lopukhin became the silver prize-winner, having yielded to Suren Pogosyan from Armenia.

“In total I had 9 parties, I won 7 of them, one party was lost one more was in draw,” Anatoly Lopukhin said.

Other Penza sportsman Dmitry Kokarevu having taken part in “A” level tournament managed to take the third place.

The international RSSU Cup on chess “Moscow Open 2012” consists of nine separate tournaments: “Men Russian Cup,” “Women Russia Cup”, “Chess Fans RSSU Cup,” “Female Students Grand Master RSSU Cup”, “Male Students Grand Master RSSU Cup,” “Students RSSU Cup,” “Champions of Schools RSSU Cup,” “RSSU Cup among Graduates of Schools” and “Fifth World Cup on Chess Composition.”

During RSSU Cup improvement of qualification for trainers, organizers and arbitrators are held under the aegis of Russian chess federation and FIDE.

General guaranteed prize fund of festival is 3 210 thousand rubles.
