Penza, 22 February 2012. PenzaNews. Penza region Championship on sports tourism will be held in the closed premises in a sport center “Centralny” on February, 24-26.

According to head of regional station of young tourists Michael Vasilev, teams of regional schools will take part in the competitions.

“Sportsmen will compete in disciplines “Trekking – Roped Team” and “Trekking”, he said.

According to regulations of the championship, participants of competitions will climb rock-climbing wall, go down on ropes and move on rails in the air, using various tourist equipment.

Opening of the competitions will take place at 10.00 o’clock on Saturday, February, 25.
