Penza athlete fourth in European championship

Penza, 21 March 2012. PenzaNews. Alexey Sobin from the Penza region took the fourth place in European championship on track and field athletics indoors among hearing impairment athletes which was held in Tallinn.

According to the press secretary of regional sport committee Julius Volkonitina, the athlete took part in 1.5 km race.

“Alexey Sobin will take part in selection competitions by results of which the national team of Russia for participation in the World Cup in track and field athletics among hearing impairment athletes will be formed,” she added.
