Penza, 28 April 2012. PenzaNews. The fourteenth athletic relay race for the Governor prizes of the Penza region took place in the industrial community of Kolyshley on Friday, April 27.

Before the start of the competition creative teams of regional cultural institutions performed at the Central stadium. As part of the opening ceremony of the relay race the Olympic anthem 2014 was heard and fireworks were launched.

As the press service of the Government of the Penza region reported to news agency “PenzaNews,” the relay race was attended by over a thousand athletes and fans from three urban districts and 27 municipalities of the region.

As a result of the competition, winners in the team events of their groups became the teams of Kuznetsk and Lopatino regions and the city of Penza.
