Penza, 4 May 2012. PenzaNews. The former head coach of hockey club Diesel Victor Bogatyrev who was the coach of Penza team last season, declared that the management of the team had forced him to leave his post. “It was not my will. The management of hockey club Diesel made such a decision. Allegedly they have a contract of cooperation with Nizhnekamsk which, probably, will help further and consequently appointed the trainer,” reported Victor Bogatyrev.

He added that the management of Diesel had put him in such conditions that he had not seen the point to remain on this post.

“In spring I received offers from other VHL clubs, but I was asked to continue my work in Diesel, and I agreed. However, when I appeared unwanted in Penza, other positions were already occupied,” Victor Bogatyrev noted.

“It is a pity for me to leave Penza club and I once again want to thank the fans. But this is our coach life: today you work here but you do not know, where you will work tomorrow,” the trainer summarized, having added that now he is unemployed.

As it was reported earlier, Alexander Sokolov, who has been training teams of Nizhnekamsk for 15 years, was appointed a new coach of Penza hockey club Diesel.
