“18 teams, totally about 150 people from Zarechny and Penza took part in a 12-hour nonstop-marathon. Cyber-sportsmen were from 12 to 28 years old. Most of professional gamers are children with wide interests who do real sports and not only virtual ones. There are dancers, tennis players, heads of enterprises and businessmen among the participants of the forum,” reported Tatyana Saltsova, the head of the media relations department of the public relations office of Zarechny.
She said that the residents of the city Zakhar Korolev, Egor Sonin and Mikhail Sarmatov suggested the city administration to hold this forum.
“Children have their own team, they have participated in such competitions for a long time, but the level of their organization in Penza or other cities is very low. Having municipality support, the initiators took an active part in forum preparation and turned the idea into reality,” the spokesperson said.
