Penza, 24 July 2012. PenzaNews. A racing driver from Penza Anton Berdnikov will take part in the second stage of open off-road series of Can-Am Trophy Russia, which starts on July 28 in Stavropol.
As the press secretary of quad-series of Can-Am Trophy Russia Galina Kosheleva told news agency “PenzaNews,” the 250-kilometer route will be laid near the Sengiley reservoir on a hilly terrain with steep ascents and descents.
“The competition will be held in five qualification runs: ATV-original, ATV-open, SSV-open, SSV-original and SSV-women,” she specified.
Penza ATV-driver Anton Berdnikov, acting in the category of ATV-original, said that on the eve of the competition he had a sense of novelty.
“I have never took part in the competitions in the mountainous regions of our country. I can prepare for this stage only listening to the reviews of experienced participants and watching photos of the track. This stage will be the most unpredictable, especially in our category. I think all the athletes taking part in the series share this opinion,” Anton Berdnikov emphasized.
