Penza, 24 July 2012. PenzaNews. Penza athlete Artem Borodin took the second place in the aquathlon competition, which took place in Zheleznogorsk within the final stage of Russian Cup.

According to Triathlon Federation of Russia, the athlete performed in the age category of men and covered the distance from start to finish in 32 minutes 22 seconds. The race included 1 km of swimming between the two cross-country distances of 2,5 km each.

The competition was won by the Moscow athlete Vladimir Kosteltsev, bronze was taken by Arthur Nigmatullin from Krasnodar Krai.
