Penza hockey players take part in “Canada-Russia Challenge” Super Series

Penza, 10 August 2012. PenzaNews. Russian junior team, which comprises Penza Hockey School player Anton Slepyshov and Diesel forward Andrey Sigarev, lost in the “Canada-Russia Challenge” Super Series match in Yaroslavl on Thursday, August 9.

As reported by the press service of the Russian Hockey Federation (RHF), in the first match of the tournament home players lost with a score of 2:3.

“Anton Slepyshov who currently plays for Metallurg from Novokuznetsk scored in the second period,” said FHR.

The second match will take place in Yaroslavl on Friday, August 10. Then the teams will go to Halifax, where the games will be held on August 13–14.
