Penza, 23 August 2012. PenzaNews. News agency PenzaNews continues to prepare for the third Summer Bowling Championship among media workers of the Penza region, which will take place in karting club Shikana on Friday, August 24.

In accordance with the rules of the championship, drawing procedure will take place at 18.00 after which the teams will be distributed among the lanes. As previously reported, six teams will struggle for a victory: broadcasting company Express, State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Penza, radio station Russkoe Radio, newspapers Penzenskaya Pravda and Pro Gorod and combined team of journalists of regional newspapers.

The main part of the tournament will consist of three games, then three top teams will qualify for the final where they will play one more game. The team that will score the most points will become a winner. The teams with the second and third result will become silver and bronze winners respectively.

According to the head of news agency PenzaNews Ivan Malikov, the prizes include a car GPS-navigator, 500GB hard drives, USB-drives, an e-book, mini-keyboards, a portable radio, Laptop Cooling Pads, USB-readers, an outdoors grill and some other prizes.

According to Ivan Malikov, the participants of the event will also take part in a quiz dedicated to the organizer of the event – news agency PenzaNews and partner companies – Rostelecom, NSS and Sberbank.

“We are sure that the third Summer Bowling Championship among media workers of the Penza region will become not only an interesting entertainment but also the opportunity to win valuable prizes, most of which are essential for journalists,” he concluded.

The championship on bowling among employees of mass media of the Penza region was organized for the first time by news agency PenzaNews in 2010. Six teams took part in the competition then, each of which consisted of employees of one edition. The employees of broadcasting companies Nash Dom, Express, Penza, Zarechny, radio stations Dobrie Pesny and newspaper Penzenskaya Prava were among the participants of the tournament.

Following the results of the competition, the first place was taken by Broadcasting Company Nash Dom, they got 763 points, the second place was taken by the team of radio station Dobrie Pesny and the third place was taken by Broadcasting Company Express.

The second summer championship on bowling among the representatives of mass media of the Penza region took place in August 2011. Eight teams took part in it: Russkoe Radio, Masterskaya-TV, Penzenskaya Pravda, GTRK Penza, Broadcasting Company Zarechny, Penza-TV, Stary Val and Broadcasting Company Nash Dom.

The team Russkoe Radio became the winner of the competition, the team Masterskaya-TV took the second place and the team Penzenskaya Pravda took the third place.
