Penza, 29 August 2012. PenzaNews. Tatiana Popova and Andrei Popov, athletes from Nizhnelomovsky area, the Penza region, won gold and silver medals at national competitions in mountain running held in the town of Shuya, the Ivanovo region.

According to the administration of the municipal entity, Tatiana Popova won the 4 by 300 meters relay among girls born in 1993–1996.

“Andrei Popov finished with the second result at a men’s distance of 5 km, 1968–1972 age category. Andrei Tikhonovich from St. Petersburg became the first,” the administration explained.
