Penza, 5 September 2012. PenzaNews. Penza professional Hockey Club Diesel will participate in the championship of the Highest Hockey League. This was announced by Acting Chairman of the regional sports committee Artur Panteleyev during a press conference on Wednesday, September 5.

“Currently, club director Dmitry Koryagin is in Moscow. He has confirmed the participation of the team in the upcoming season and said that all problems were solved,” Artur Panteleyev said.

The meeting of the board of the League is scheduled on September 6, one of the issues on the agenda of which will be the admission of clubs in the championship of Highest Hockey League, and team composition.

As news agency PenzaNews previously reported, according to Art. 12 of tournament regulations, the club was to provide a list of documents, confirming its competence, and ability to provide all the necessary conditions for holding hockey matches. However, in late August, the Penza team had no signed contract with sports facilities — sports-entertaining complex “Diesel-Arena,” and a financial guarantee letter of 100 million rubles for the season.
