Penza racing cyclist won Russian Championship

Penza, 21 September 2012. PenzaNews. Penza racing cyclist Yevgenia Goncharova won the Russian Championship in the youth category 1996–1997 year of birth, which finished in Moscow on September 19.

According to the press service of the Russian Cycling Federation (RCF), she was the fastest in the race “Scratch,” winning over Moscow cyclist Polina Ryazantseva and Anna Bystrova representing team “Rus.”

“The cyclist was also the second in the elimination race, the third in the 200-meter flying-start heat and team pursuit,” the Federation explained.

The press service added that two Penza sportswomen also became the winners of the Russian Championship.

“Olga Goncharova came second in the race “Keirin” and won bronze in the team sprint with another Penza cyclist Alisa Korobeynikova,” the CFR summed up.

The championship was attended by 144 contestants from the Tula, Penza, Moscow, Udmurtia, Samara, Rostov and Leningrad regions.
