Penza, 26 September 2012. PenzaNews. Open individual and team championship of the fishing sport in the discipline “spinning fishing” (from the shore) “Sursky predator – 2012” will be held on the bank of the Sura river in Penza on the coming Sunday, September 30.

Competition will consist of four periods, each of which will last for an hour. The contestants will use only artificial lures, and only predatory fish will be taken into account.

It is expected that the main prey of fishermen in this area will become the perch.

Approximately 50 sportsmen from Penza, the Penza region, and other regions including Mordovia, Saratov and Tambov have already filed applications.

According to the Internet service “Penza-Sport,” registration is scheduled to begin at 6.00. The ceremonial opening of the championship will be held at 8.30. Awarding ceremony will take place at 18.30.

In 2011, the championship in spinning fishing from the shore “Sursky predator” in Penza had the regional status. At that time 37 contestants from Penza, Zarechny, Kuznetsk, Saratov, Tambov and Samara took part in it.

The winner of “Sursky predator – 2011” was the team “Zarechny,” the second place was occupied by “Trophies Avalon – 3” from Penza, sportsmen from Tambov “Trial” were the third.

In the individual competition Alexei Dmitriev (Tambov) took the first place, Alexander Brychenkov (Zarechny) was the second, and Sergei Petrov (Saratov) won bronze.
