Penza, 28 September 2012. PenzaNews. Alumni of Penza school of the highest sports skills Ilya Gorodnichev won the fourth stage of a multi-day cycling race “Friendship of Peoples of the North Caucasus,” which is a part of the Russian championship in highway cycling.

According to the press service of the Russian Cycling Federation, Ilya Gorodnichev came first in the group race at 120 km overtaking Alexander Budaragin and Arguelles Rodriguez, representing “Rusvelo” team.

“The fourth stage took place in Pyatigorsk. At the previous stage of competitions in Budennovsk the cyclist from Penza was the sixth to come,” explained in the federation.

The competitions consist of 13 stages. They began on September 23 and will finish on October 6.
