Penza, 8 October 2012. PenzaNews. Alumni of Penza club “Lokomotiv” Tamara Balabolina took the second place in the championship of Russia in track cycling, which finished in the center “Lokosphinx” in St. Petersburg.

According to the press service of the Russian Cycling Federation (RCF), Penza athlete won silver in several disciplines, gaining 18 points in total.

“She was the fastest in the standing-start heat 500 meters, finished second in elimination road race, came third in the flying-start heat 250 meters, and in the individual pursuit for 3 km and “Scratch,” explained in the RCF.

The championship gathered 150 athletes from Moscow, Tula, Penza, St. Petersburg, Sestroretsk, Samara and other cities.
